Room

Use the Room page to alter the Room Name and view the Host Switch Status. 

The Room Name field allows the user to change the room name (the default name is room-<device serial number>)

See naming requirements below:

• Must be between 1 and 20 characters.
• May include upper and lowercase letters.
• May include numeric digits.
• May include the hyphen, underscore, period, and space characters.

The EasyConnect MPX 100 supports automatic switching between UC Room Systems and BYOM Clients. By default, without a BYOM connected, the device will be set to UC Room. When a BYOM device is connected the EasyConnect will automatically switch to the BYOM connection. If the device becomes disconnected from HDMI, automatic switching will force the device into Maintenance mode. Maintenance mode is a selectable status available on the Peripherals page.

The Host Switch Status displays the current status of the device.

Manual Host Switch Control must be toggled On to perform the manual switch through a network controller device, SSH/Telnet must be enabled from the Network page.
